Rich Tarrant, CEO

Rich founded MyWebGrocer in 1999. Rich was an early believer in the viability of the online grocery business and developed the company’s first generation eCommerce Platform. He has an impressive record as an entrepreneur in the retail, real estate and health care industries. Rich is a graduate of the University of Vermont and holds a Business degree.

Tim Kenney, President / CTO

Prior to joining MyWebGrocer, Tim was the Global General Manager of Imaging Software Development for GE Healthcare Information Technologies. He was responsible for GE’s worldwide Imaging IT software products and a team spanning 10 global offices. Tim was also founder and CEO of an Internet application development company, NYBOR Corporation, from 1993 to 2001. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from St. Michael’s College and a M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.

Jerry Tarrant

Jerry Tarrant, Chief Operating Officer

Jerry is the co-founder and COO of MyWebGrocer.  Jerry was born and raised in Vermont, where he studied business at the University of Vermont.  After playing professional hockey for five years, Jerry co-founded Amicus Healthcare Living Centers. When MyWebGrocer was started in 1999, Jerry took on the financial, legal and human resource responsibilities. Jerry and his partners sold Amicus Healthcare in 2005, and he joined MyWebGrocer full time as CFO. In 2013,  Jerry became the COO at MyWebGrocer.

Mathieu Gagné, Chief Financial Officer

Mat Came to MyWebGrocer after spending 10 years in financial services at eSecLending, a leading securities lending agent. There, he held strategic leadership roles primarily in Finance, with key assignments in Product Development, Risk Management and heading the company’s London, UK division. Prior to eSecLending, Mat was a founding partner at Netro-City, an online news service, and he spent six years as a sales manager for VitronicsSoltec, a capital equipment manufacturer for electronics assembly. Mat holds a BA from Boston College and received both an MBA and a Master of Science in Finance from the Carroll School of Management, Boston College.

Curt Alpeter, Executive Vice President

Curt was formerly a Vice President at IDX Systems Corp., a publicly traded healthcare software company based in Burlington, Vermont. As a member of IDX’s Senior Operations Team, Curt was responsible for managing the sales, development and operational functions of IDX’s most strategic business partnership. During his 15 years at IDX, Curt also spent 10 years in a variety of sales leadership roles. As Vice President of Sales, Curt was responsible for leading a national team of 30 people including regional vice presidents, sales representatives, marketing and administrative staff. Curt holds a BA in Marketing from Miami University, Ohio.


Jeff Downs
Senior Vice President Research 

Jeff’s bio

Jeff has held the role of Director of Development at MyWebGrocer for six years, prior to being appointed SVP Research, and has an in-depth understanding of the grocery business. Jeff has 22 years of software design and development experience across a variety of domains including retail, healthcare, travel and microelectronics. Jeff’s research work in the area of graphical interfaces and storage has been published and presented internationally. He holds a Computer Science degree from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Computing Graphics degree from State University of New York at Alfred.
Sophie Huang
Senior Vice President International and Enterprise Initiatives 

Sophie’s bio

Sophie leads the MyWebGrocer International Business Unit. She and her team are responsible for Product Development, Operations and Customer support for this growing unit. Sophie joined MyWebGrocer in 2011 and has had a successful career in senior management positions in software development within hospitality and finance both in the United States and Overseas. Prior to joining MyWebGrocer Sophie was COO with Lorica Solutions working with Marriott and AT&T, and prior to that Vice President of Research & Development for PAR Springer-Miller, both roles involved International expansion.
Heather Drake
Vice President Operations 

Heather’s bio

Heather is the Vice President of Operations at MyWebGrocer and has been with the company since 2000. She is responsible for managing the retail, brand and advertising operations departments. Prior to assuming leadership of Operations, she held multiple roles within the company including the Director of Advertising Operations, Director of Retail Operations, as well as serving as a software engineer in development. Heather served as an officer in the United States Army before joining MyWebGrocer and holds a Computer Science Engineering degree from Norwich University.
Marlon Branicki
Senior Vice President R&D 

Marlon’s bio

Marlon is a MyWebGrocer veteran with 15+ years of experience providing software solutions to the retail grocery and education industries. Marlon joined the company in 2000 and was the lead engineer for the eCommerce product line. He is a graduate of the University of Vermont and holds a degree in Management Information Systems.
Dan Vanchieri
Senior Vice President National Sales 

Dan’s bio

Dan is responsible for National Sales efforts at MyWebGrocer. Most recently, Dan spent two years at Fox Interactive Media, where he was responsible for strategic development and revenue generation within MySpace for some of its largest partners. Prior to Fox, Dan worked at Microsoft, executing online sales and strategy for various eCommerce and Fortune 500 Companies. He has also held various sales and management positions at Claria Corporation, a behavioral targeting pioneer, and LinkShare Corporation one of the first affiliate marketing technology platforms on the web. Dan started his career at Grey Advertising and is a graduate of Boston University.
Ross Gillanders
Managing Director Europe 

Ross’ bio

Ross is the Managing Director of our European Operation with responsibility for setting up and managing the first MyWebGrocer overseas office. He joined MyWebGrocer in 2008 and held a variety of Sales and Account Management roles before taking up his current position. Ross has 15 years experience in both the retail and eCommerce industries and has a Masters from Trinity College, Dublin.
Michelle Cote
Vice President Marketing and Insights 

Michelle’s bio

Michelle joined MyWebGrocer in 2009 and currently heads the Insight and Marketing teams. In this role she helps MyWebGrocer provide strategic guidance to its retail and CPG clients by leveraging digital shopper data. Prior to joining MyWebGrocer, Michelle was the Loyalty Marketing and Research Manager for The Vermont Teddy Bear Company and its sister brands. Previous to that, she spent seven years in New York City at MTV Networks as Research Manager at Nickelodeon and VH1. She is a graduate of the University of Vermont.
Jabez Boyd
Vice President Business Development 

Jabez’s bio

Jabez began his career in 1998 as a member of the team that brought commercial real estate online. Following seven years of managing LoopNet’s national accounts and commercial mortgage partnerships, he joined the emerging web analytics industry as Vice President of Sales for EpikOne. In his current role as Vice President of Business Development, Jabez is responsible for MyWebGrocer’s strategic partnerships and a contributor to our international expansion.
